is situated high in the mountains of eastern Ethiopia above the Gulf of Aden and
this is the home of the classic longberry mocha coffee bean. Plantations
are found at exceptional altitudes of between 2000m and 2750m above
sea level. Every
step of the way this coffee is processed by expert hand. From hand-picking
these pointed, golden ripe beans to regularly turning them during the sun-drying
process right up to the final sorting process. All
these unique factors ensure that Harrar coffee is known for its full body,
medium acidity and distinctive classic deep mocha chocolate flavour with a
